Premier League club Crystal Palace have long been linked with a move for outstanding Galatasaray player Mostafa Mohamed and while he has not yet made a move away from the Turkish Super Lig outfit, his teammate has revealed something about him that will leave Palace fans excited already. Mohammed’s teammate at Galatasaray Ryan Babel has spoken nice words about the reported Palace transfer target and those words will surely go a long way in convincing the Premier League outfit to table a bid as soon as possible.
Palace have long been in search of a proven number nine who would lead the team’s attack with a porous instinct in front of goal and it looks likely that they have found an ideal candidate for the position. The club’s current crop of strikers include Christian Benteke, Michy Batshuayi, and Connor Wickham but it doesn’t look like the three of them will last long at the club with reports suggesting that they will all be quitting Selhurst Park in the summer.
Ajax midfielder Davy Klaasen has spoken on his time at Everton ahead of Ajax’s Champions League clash against Liverpool at Anfield. The Netherlands international spent the 2017/2018 season with Everton, but he barely made an impact with just one assist coming from his 16 appearances across all competitions.
Owing to this, he made the switch to Werder Bremen in the summer of 2018 and he was able to revive his career with 16 goals and 13 assists from 81 appearances before making his comeback with Ajax this year. Speaking in a press conference, Klaasen said that it is his first time in Liverpool, given he did not live in the city when he was contracted to the Toffees. Continue reading
Former Liverpool player Ryan Babel has opened up on his past life and career, including the one he spent at Liverpool Football Club. Back in the summer transfer window of 2007, Liverpool agreed on a fee that was believed to be in the region of €17.25 with Dutch club Ajax for the transfer of Babel from the Dutch league to the Premier League.
Babel joined the Reds and made some reasonable impact having scored 22 goals and provided a further 18 assists in the 14y appearances he made for the Anfield club. The numbers he had at Liverpool were really encouraging for a player of that price tag but he, unfortunately, could not get his hands on any silverware during his stay at Liverpool.
Dutchman Ryan Babel has been a professional footballer for over a decade but that has not stopped him from venturing into a career outside football. The Galatasaray player is gradually preparing for life after football and he has chosen the property business. According to him, his property portfolio would be bigger by the end of this year.

The Ajax midfielder has been constantly linked with a move to Real Madrid over the past year but so far, no deal has materialised with the Madrid giants assessing their options.
This has led to suggestions that van de Beek could join a different European outfit and Van der Vaart believes his compatriot would be better served doing so. Speaking to ESPN, he said that Real Madrid would present a difficult challenge for the midfielder and a move to either Bayern or Dortmund instead could help him develop into a better player. Ryan Babel raised a few eyebrows by making a return to Ajax, the club where he started his career back in 2004, on a short-term loan spell from Galatasaray. The 33-year-old has become a forgotten man in these parts after having travelled almost throughout the length of Europe in his career. After starting out with Ajax, he went on to play for Liverpool in what could turn out to be his best time of his career. Babel spent four years at Anfield before a short spell in Hoffenheim. The striker and winger made a surprising return to Ajax in the 2012-13 campaign, but he did not stay for long.
This followed a merry-go-round where he went with different clubs across the world like Deportivo La Coruna, Besiktas, and even Fulham. Yet, Babel has been unable to stay at the club for much longer and this was expected to be the case when he signed from Galatasaray in 2019. After making only 15 appearances for the Turkish club, Babel made the switch back to Ajax back in January. Just a few months after he made his return, Babel had to undergo little action on the pitch, as football around the world came to an end due to the coronavirus issue.
Former Premier League ace Danny Mills believes Rangers should make the move to sign Ryan Babel, who is open to the possibility of working with manager Steven Gerrard. Babel and Gerrard were teammates at Liverpool and the former recently suggested that he would like to be reunited at the Glasgow giants.
Speaking to Football Insider, Mills acknowledged that Babel is approaching the final phase of his professional career but he would still prove a quality purchase for them, judging by the success of Jermaine Defoe. He added that the Dutchman has a good relationship with Gerrard from their Anfield days and Rangers could benefit from his services, suppose he is available for an affordable price.
Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt has revealed that he turned down interest from the likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain in order to join Juventus last summer. The former Ajax man was heavily linked with a move to the Blaugrana for nearly a year but he eventually made the surprise switch to the Bianconeri in the Serie A.

Paris Saint-Germain or Barcelona but he was tempted by the project at the
Bianconeri. He added that the development factor also played a part in the
decision to join the Italian champions, he told: “I had offers last summer from
Juventus, PSG and Barcelona, so I studied the various options and at the end of
the day concluded I could grow faster at Juve. They have a particular style and
I knew being here would make me a more complete player. There are more eyes on
you and people expect a great deal, all of which is new compared to my time at
The star footballer from Galatasaray, Ryan Babel has recently signed an unexpected move. He made claims that the FIFA’ya club has complained about the receivables that were not paid within the designated time. The footballer from the Netherlands said that he was not paid and he sent a complaint to FIFA mentioning the reason for the delay in payment.
Before the season started, a
contract for three years was signed between him and the club Galatasaray. But
his joining the club was delayed by 4 days because of FIFA. It was known that
there is a specific termination procedure in case of a delay for 3 months which
is mentioned by FIFA itself. But later, it was known that Ryan Babel made took
such action within the timeframe that is mentioned in his contract with
Galatasaray. Footballers definitely do not expect such a step to be taken
against them which the yellow-red club experienced. It was a great shock for
other players as well.
