According to Fichajes, Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic is on the radar of both Atletico Madrid and Liverpool. Inter Milan are also said to be vying for the 24-year-old defender’s signature, with the Serb having just a year remaining on his contract with the Serie A club. Milenkovic has been with Fiorentina since joining them from Serbian club FK Partizan in the 2017 summer transfer window. He took a season to settle down in Italy before cementing his spot in the Serie A club’s starting lineup and has since been a regular.

In all, Milenkovic has made 172 appearances for La Viola, scoring 14 goals and assisting another. But with just a year remaining on his contract, the 24-year-old defender could be on the move this summer as Fiorentina will want a transfer fee to invest in other areas in the ongoing transfer window. Atletico Madrid are among the potential suitors, with Diego Simeone eager to add defensive reinforcements. The Rojiblancos did not have the best of La Liga seasons as they failed to defend their league title, finishing third.
