Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita is attracting interest from three London giants in Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur next summer, according to 90min (h/t Express). The 27-year-old sees his current contract expire next summer and the Reds are yet to agree to a new deal with the midfielder. Should they fail to do so, the Guinea international will be free to speak to other clubs for a pre-contract agreement in January. Now, the three London giants are interested in the 27-year-old. They will, however, not be able to speak to him in January and can only negotiate with him next summer due to Premier League rules.

While the midfielder may have his issues, he is still an important player in the squad. The 27-year-old helps add depth to the squad and has shown that he still has some very good potential in him over time. Also to allow him to leave for free to a rival club makes no sense. The 27-year-old would make a fine addition to our rival teams and that is something that the Reds should look to avoid.
It will be wise for the club to look to extend the midfielder’s contract at the club. Just 27, the player still has much to offer and it would be unwise to allow that potential to benefit their rivals. Ryan Babel has insisted that it would be wise of Liverpool to keep the midfielder especially given how they’ve faced injuries so far this season.
